The Rainforest Motel is situated 100 metres walk from the centre of the village. We have studio units, 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom units catering for up to 6 people. All units are large & bright with great views over large lawns & up towards the mountains. The all have ensuite bathrooms & fully equipped kitchens.
We are an owner operated Motel & take great pride in welcoming people to this lovely part of the world. We are very happy to help with planning your activities during your stay.

We are a 2 minute walk from the office of Fox Glacier Guiding where guided walks on the glacier begin. A helicopter flight over the Glacier is a great way to appreciate the region, and all the offices are within walking distance of the property.Lake Matheson is an easy hour and a half walk giving great reflective views of Mount Cook & Mount Tasman on a clear day.
